Chinese Movie Festival is an event showcasing several traditional Chinese movies that deliberately spark discussion on the relationships between politics, culture, and art.

The most important things are the movie titles and the dates, so I want to express the theme of traditional China using only typography.

The result of the poster was an A2 poster that features only typography of important messages, as it also expresses most people’s ideas towards traditional China through red, white patches and lines. It somehow represents the jubilant, noisy, over-magnified movies at the time.
