“As I Walk, Solitary, Unattended” is an art project in collboration with model Fangyi Chen and photographer Norman Chen. The work was shot in the lifeless area of old Hsinchu City during midnight, side by side with Walt Whitman’s same titled poem “As I Walk, Solitary, Unattended”.
As I walk, solitary, unattended,
Around me I hear that eclat of the world
—politics, produce,
The announcements of recognized things
—science,
The approved growth of cities,
and the spread of inventions.
