This is a book that brands our school’s residential college into a magic school. I was thinking of “What if our residential is a school that welcomes students with all different specialties like their born magic!” and there goes the book.
I wanted to make the students feel special and belonged to a place full of excitement and supriese.
Purple is the primary color of the school’s identity system. By further integrating this color with monotone detailed illustrations, we can clearly convey this mysterious, alluring, magical atmosphere to the students.
The glossy paper used in the final production will slightly glow when turning pages and reveal the special star patterns on it. And the hardcover binding was also to capture the spirits of those ancient, mythical magical books.
